The Jibarito Stop was created by Cely Rodriguez & Moraima Fuentes in 2012 as a food truck. With the support of all their loyal customers it then flourished into a restaurant in Pilsen. The Jibarito Stop is located at 1646 W. 18th St. We think this is some of the best Puerto Rican food we’ve ever had. Puerto Rican food can be very meat heavy but we loved that the Jibarito Stop has vegetarian options. Our favorite items were the veggie empanadas and the vegetarian Jibarito sandwich!
