Cupitol: where coffee meets food. You usually get good coffee or good food but not both at a coffee shop. Our new streeterville hangout, Cupitol, is a refreshing day cafe and restaurant that opened up in Evanston last year and then opened in the city at 455 E. Illinois in March. Their coffee is imported from Greece, they have grab and go options as well as a relaxing environment to sit down and relax and eat or do work/study. Their big windows draw sunlight so workers can lounge around during the day and hang out in their big comfy chairs with a Freddo Cappuccino, one of their specialities. And at night you can get a glass of wine or a beer and meet up with friends there for dinner or before or after a movie. It's just a block west of the AMC River East 21. There are some really great vegetarian options as well. Cupitol is open from 7am-10pm daily.
