Mrs. O'Leary Chicago Fire Tee

This design was inspired by the old fable that the Great Chicago Fire was started by Mrs. O’Leary’s cow kicking over a lantern. In the tee, the lantern is replaced with a speaker, the cow is wearing headphones, and Mrs. O’Leary is holding a boom box. This is a metaphor for Chicago music spreading like wildfire throughout the world. Chicago has a history of being a front-runner in music. Some say jazz was born on the streets of Chicago and this city is the birthplace to greats like Sam Cooke, Curtis Mayfield, Donny Hathaway, and Quincy Jones. Current Chicago musicians include R. Kelly, Common, Jennifer Hudson, and Kanye West.
