Benchmark, located at 1510 N. Wells, hit the Old Town scene about 2 months ago and has been packed since the doors have opened. The retractable roof covering much of the second is very cool and will become handy when the weather turns. The TV set up is unmatched, it will be the perfect place to catch a game. The food is decently priced and if you are looking for a great appetizers to have while watching a game, we would suggest the Hot, Soft Pretzels. We also would strongly recommend the Bloody Mary’s although it seemed like they may need a little more time to get the food and drink menu together. It is definitely the new spot on the scene and will be for a while so check it out!

Ants Marching at Wrigley
Just when the season will be wrapping up for our Cubbies, Wrigley found a way to house backwards baseball cap wearing, cargo short equipped “broskis” for 2 more nights! Unless you’re still holding a grudge against Dave Matthews Band for ‘accidentally’ releasing bodily waste in our river years ago, you’ve already bought your tickets. DMB has been relentlessly touring for almost 2 decades now, but they have finally brought their amazing talent to a venue that will allow their eclectic sound to echo through our north side streets! With the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre and Alpine Valley holding 10’s of thousands, DMB hasn’t played this small of Chicagoland area venue since he played the Aragon back in ’95! So get ready for Wrigleyville to become a multi-block fraternity party and check out this once in a lifetime concert September 17-18!

the rooftop at the wit hotel
The Wit Hotel located at 201 N. State st. definitely has bragging rights when it comes to their rooftop. It is set up beautifully with almost a Miami style decor, although far less corny, and they offer a fantastic drink and food menu. There are flat screen TVs, canopies, booths and fire lit islands making for an amazingly sexy experience. The clientele are always dressed to impress and it wouldn’t be rare to see a cougar on the prowl. This is absolutely a must see when it comes to Chicago hot spots. Make sure you take advantage of Chicago’s refreshing summer nights at the rooftop at the Wit. Read More
ChiBoys Party at Le Passage
ChiBoys hosted a party at Le Passage nightclub last Friday. The night ended up being a huge success due to the support of the the Le Passage staff and all of the people who came out to support this clothing line and in doing so, Chicago. We feel re-energized and more confident than ever that Chicago is wrongfully nicknamed ‘the city of hella haters.’ Chicago has stood up for us and we plan to continue to stand up for them. Thank you for all of the continuous support. Read More
